Originating from the inquiry into translating subjective visual experiences into digital imagery, the 'Forms in Perception Series' visualizes the active process of perception formation. Influenced by Bauhaus principles and Josef Albers' theories, the series explores the relationship between perception and space. Divided into five areas, it delves into the gap between inner and physical time through the ever-changing movement of water, symbolizing the fluctuation between subjective and objective time. Emphasizing the interplay of motion and stillness, basic shapes are utilized to depict the continuous essence within movement, akin to the enduring characteristics of the sea amid its constant fluctuations. For example, the work structures the repetitive rhythms of the sea, where forms constantly shift, evoking varied visual experiences and reflecting the motif of the sea's surface—repetitive changes while maintaining its essence. Through rotation and overlapping forms, tension arises, inducing a sense of familiarity and unfamiliarity, intending to evoke subjective imagery within the viewer. This series encapsulates the intricate mechanisms of perception and visualizes them within a concise narrative.
